Requirements for SAQA Learnerships
Every learnership has requirements that must be met in order to apply. Here we have compiled basic information on the requirements that apply to most students offered by SAQA.
Minimum Requirements Information:
- All candidates must be South African citizens
- Applicants must have a valid identity document
- All candidates must have a legal matric or grade 12 certificate
- Applicants must, where appropriate, hold a diploma or degree in their field of study
- All candidates must have a clear criminal record
- Applicants may not be employed or undergo any other training
- Most of the training offered by SAQA also invites people with disabilities to apply. If you have a disability, you must submit a medical certificate
- indicating the nature of the disability.
